PLEASE allow the option to disable, or remove the 30 minute timeout on the PC app. It's extremely annoying to have to interact with the app every 30 minutes to keep the cameras running.

Totally agree!

I also use a dedicated laptop and monitor to watch my cameras, and I would very much like to disable the timeout feature!

Hey guys I have this issue also. I used this article as a workaround
https://www.howtogeek.com/97998/how-to-make-your-computer-press-a-key-every-x-seconds/

But I changed the script a bit. You should be able to use this code

#Persistent
SetTimer, PressTheKey, 300000
Return

PressTheKey:
Send, {Space}

Send, {Space}
Return

bascially what's it's doing is hitting the space bar twice in a row rapidly every 5 mins. this pauses the camera and unpauses it in a fraction of a second every 5 mins and now it doesn't time out. If anyone needs help email me at nick.360group@gmail.com

I am temporarily using my Yi home Camera to watch foster bunnies that I have in my spare bathroom. I am also using the computer app to send a live stream of them to StreamMe and YouTube. It is SO annoying that there is no way to turn off the auto-pause feature on the computer Yi Home app. I want to be able to monitor them 24/7 and not have to continually press a key on my computer. Thank you, Nick for the work around, but there shouldn't be a need for it. If there was a pause function of the Yi camera at all, it should only happen when there is no motion on the camera. PLEASE create a way to turn off the auto-pause feature.
