I've purchased and used the new 4K+ camera and really like it.  I also purchased the Yi Gimbal and Selfie stick and when I install the camera into the gimbal, the right side microphone hole is covered.

I tried pulling the camera out a few mm to give the mic room to hear, but that seems to throw off the gimbal's balance and it sags toward the lens side.

What are my options?

Thanks,
Matt

It looks like camera is hold by a small metal bracket.
May the left  microphone  hole is covered and not the right one?

On a YI 4K+ you can use an external microphone?

If you are behind the camera using it, the microphone hole is on the right, which should be the right stereo channel, sits flush against the inside rubber pad of the gimbal.

This mic hole was on the top of the original 4K camera and was moved to the right side for the 4K+, likely to improve audio because your finger would cover the hole when using it with your right hand.

Thanks for information.
I have a YI4K - normally I use it on a bicycle mount.

Normally the motors inside gimbal should stabilize position when you are moving.
Acceleration force should be much higher than weight of the camera.
Hard to believe, that changing position of camera within some milimeters is such a load, that let gimbal sag to the side.

One idea:
Turn camera 180 degrees around, so battery cabinet shows to the top. Then rotate video in menu.
