Tried adding an sd card today and alerts started working.  No idea if that was related.

Mine started working for some reason.  I added an ad card but that shouldn't have done it....

Me too - same issue.  The alerts show up logged in the YI Home app, but they no longer show up as notifications in iOS.  They used to work - I'm not sure if they stopped after upgrading to a new version of iOS, but I am currently running 10.3.3.

I am using a Yi Home Security Camera with firmware version 2.20.14.2_20170915 . I can see alerts in the Yi Home App but there are no automatic notifications in status bar. If i do not open the app, i won't even get any alerts.

Also, is it possible to get email alerts?

Same here using ios 11.02 and my wife is using 11.02 ... same login, all settings in notification are enabled

I got similar problem, the push notification worked well before, since yesterday, my 2 android cell phones can't receive push notifications when motion detected, but there are alerts in app under every camera.
And, I have anoter iPhone which is still able to receive push notification when motion detection triggered.
My problem seems related to Android app version? any help?

don't tell me turn on the notification for Yi app in cell phone, I did check many times and actually it worked well and no settings changed.

I just got the 720P dome cam, and haven't been able to get one notification to go through yet. What's the point if it doesn't work? I bought this cam based on reviews, features and cost. I guess you get what you pay for. If I don't get a response from support with a fix in the next few days it's going back. The only way to know if I have an alert is to open the app, which is pointless. Otherwise the camera is fine, so I'm hoping for a quick fix. Phone is Galaxy Note 5

that is because of Auto Start Manager turned off. Go to Setting.. Power Management.. Auto Start Manager.. then search for Yi Home and turn it ON..
