Using my phone, I cannot play back the videos on the camera in the YI Dashcam app. Whenever I try to play, I get the message "Operation system does not support the resolution of the video file". If I download the file to my phone and play it, it works fine.

Note: I am using a Nexus 6 with a stock resolution of 1440 x 2560. My Nexus 5 (1080 x 1920 resolution) does not experience this problem. There are more and more high resolution phones coming out, so please fix this issue, Xiaoyi!

I emailed support@yitechnology.com about this problem.

I got a prompt reply, but so far no concrete solution.  They suggested I download  an older version of the software.  That worked fine, but the older version does not have video playback inside the app, so it kind of sidesteps the problem.

I'd suggest others email support as well, as it can only make it more likely they identify this as an actual problem in need of fixing.
